Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area for a Fundraiser and Conservation Ambassador. The role involves engaging with the public to raise awareness about WWF-India's conservation efforts and securing donations. Daily tasks include setting up and managing fundraising events, reaching out to potential donors, building lasting relationships with supporters, and educating communities about environmental conservation. The successful candidate will represent WWF-India at various events and help drive funding for our conservation projects.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in fundraising and event management
• Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability
• Ability to engage and educate diverse communities
• Proficient in public speaking and presentations
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Chennai Area
• Experience working with non-profits or in a similar role is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field
