Job Title: Fund Administration Analyst / Associate

Experience:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fund Administration Analyst/Associate to join our team in Chennai. The position is responsible for setting up security details in accounting platforms, pricing securities using internal pricing tools, supporting NAV calculations for funds, and processing corporate actions based on vendor inputs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up security master details accurately across accounting and investment platforms.
Price securities using internal pricing systems and tools to support daily/periodic NAV calculations.
Support the Fund Administration team in calculating Net Asset Values (NAVs) for assigned funds.
Process corporate actions (dividends, splits, mergers, etc.) based on vendor-provided data.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fund accounting deliverables.
Identify discrepancies in pricing or security setup and resolve them efficiently.
Manage daily workflows and prioritize tasks to meet client deadlines.
Contribute creative solutions to operational challenges and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

6 months to 3 years of experience in Fund Accounting, NAV calculation, Security Setup, Pricing, or Corporate Actions.
Strong understanding of financial instruments and fund administration processes.
Ability to plan and organize workload effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to work with large data sets.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Fund Accounting tools or investment accounting platforms.
Knowledge of mutual funds, hedge funds, or investment operations.
Familiarity with pricing vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.).
