Functional Trainer/Process Trainer

Role Overview: As a Trainer for Securities Operations at Societe Generale GSC, your primary responsibility will be delivering structured training programs for Equities and Bonds, as well as back-office operations in India and France. Your expertise in Trade Operations, specifically in areas such as Settlements, Fails management, Pre-matching, Corporate Actions, Change Management, Treasury Management & Depot/Nostro reconciliation, will be crucial in conducting effective training sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and effective training sessions on trade finance operations including Trade Settlements, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, and Letters of Credit (LCs). - Conduct onboarding and refresher/upskilling sessions for staff in India and France. - Develop and maintain training content customized to local and French operational contexts, integrating case studies, simulations, and regulatory updates. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, act as a training Subject Matter Expert (SME), and ensure adherence to standards. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, errors, and training requirements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or equivalent. Masters/MBA preferred. - 6-10 years of experience in Securities Operations with a minimum of 2+ years in a training or knowledge management role. - Prior experience in banking back-office operations is a must.
