There really is a place for you here. **Role Overview:** As a QA Specialist/Functional Tester at KPMG, you will be a key player in driving process efficiency, innovation, and solutions. You will be responsible for various testing methods and processes, including functional and data testing. Your expertise in preparing detailed test cases, writing test scripts, and utilizing defect management applications will be crucial for the success of projects. Additionally, hands-on experience with a variety of testing tools and agile methodologies will be essential. **Key Responsibilities:** - Knowledge of testing methods and processes, with experience in functional and data testing - Hands-on experience in Functional testing System/Integration & UAT - Expertise in Functional Testing/Integration Testing/Regression Testing/System Testing/E2E Testing and Acceptance Testing - Preparation of detailed Test Cases and Test Scripts based on Business Requirements - Proficiency in STLC, Black box test techniques & methodologies - Experience with defect management applications like HP ALM, Jira - In-depth understanding of SDLC process with a focus on QA, test strategy, and execution - Hands-on experience with manual functional testing using agile and scrum methodology **Qualifications Required:** - High awareness of software quality, strong analytical, and conceptual skills - Excellent communication skills to influence senior management and stakeholders - Proficient in acquiring and analyzing test data - Ability to assess problems from multiple angles and make decisions - Flexible to work on various project requirements and timings - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with mature judgment **About Us:** The Consulting business at KPMG Global Services (KGS) consists of a diverse team of more than 6400 professionals.
