Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize test strategies and comprehensive test plans. This includes establishing quality standards and procedures for the team.
• Oversee and monitor all testing activities, manage test cycles, and ensure the execution of both manual and automated tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ensure that quality standards are integrated throughout the product lifecycle, from planning to release.
• Work closely with other departments like development and product management to align quality goals with project timelines.
• Monitor and analyze key quality metrics to track performance and report on progress and issues to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of quality issues and streamline testing workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in various testing methodologies (manual and automated), modern testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit), and programming languages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly document issues and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership qualities, including delegation, conflict resolution, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects and drive quality initiatives.
• A solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various quality assurance methodologies.
