Job Description

A Functional Consultant L4 job description focuses on leading client engagements, analyzing business requirements, and designing and implementing ERP or IT solutions to meet client needs. This senior role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, along with expertise in business processes and specific software, and often includes mentoring junior consultants and contributing to project strategy. Responsibilities also involve managing projects, conducting workshops, and providing ongoing support and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

Client engagement and requirements analysis:
Lead client engagements, gather and analyze business requirements, and ensure project objectives align with client needs.
Solution design and implementation:
Design and deliver functional specifications, and work with technical teams to create and implement integrated solutions.
Project management:
Play a key role in project planning, risk assessment, and change management processes.
Technical and functional bridge:
Act as a liaison between functional and technical teams to provide expert advice and solutions.
Support and training:
Provide ongoing support to clients, resolve issues, conduct training sessions, and educate clients on system functionalities.
Mentorship and leadership:
Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Process optimization:
Create and deploy automation tools to improve efficiency and optimize processes.
