Job Summary:

Lead Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead functional consulting engagements across multiple projects or clients.
• Conduct workshops and interviews to gather business requirements and define solution scope.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and process flows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between functional and technical designs.
• Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and analysts.
• Support change management, training, and post-implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in functional consulting, with at least 2-3 years in a lead role.
• Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HCM).
• Experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Domain expertise in [industry-specific area, e.g., finance, manufacturing, healthcare].
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or platform-specific credentials (e.g., SAP Certified Consultant).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
