Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop backend applications using Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI)
Design and implement RESTful APIs
Integrate APIs of various insurance companies, banks, and NBFCs into the platform
Handle API authentication, data security, and error handling
Design, manage, and optimize SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MS SQL)
Work closely with frontend and product teams
Debug, optimize, and enhance system performance
Maintain technical documentation for APIs and integrations

Preferred candidate profile

Strong proficiency in Python
Experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI
Hands-on experience with REST API development & integration
Strong understanding of SQL databases
Experience integrating third-party insurance or BFSI APIs (preferred)
Knowledge of API authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, tokens)
Familiarity with Git / version control systems
Basic frontend understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
