As a Vice President, Application Development Tech Lead Analyst based in Pune, India, you will be responsible for leading the XVA and Cross Asset Margin technology teams to develop and enhance strategic systems and services that impact how Citi Capital Markets manages risk. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading applications systems analysis, design, and programming activities. - Establishing design standards and improving the efficiency of development workflows. - Taking ownership of smooth Production releases planning and execution. - Overseeing software quality and system modifications. - Serving as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts. - Analyzing existing operations to identify risks and redundancies. - Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments. In terms of qualifications, you should have: - 10+ years of relevant experience in an Apps Development role with hands-on coding. - Demonstrated thought leadership in designing complex and distributed systems. - In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring, Kafka, Distributed Cache/Systems, Microservices, Cloud Native Development, and relational databases like Oracle. - Experience with API first design thinking and implementation using Rest, websocket, and gRPC. - Building applications on cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. - Implementing design patterns and enterprise-level architecture. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - UI tech stack knowledge. - Business knowledge of Risk and Margin and regulatory stress testing. - Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent is required, with a Masters degree preferred.
