Role Overview: As a Software Developer at Wipro, your role is crucial in designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at client end. Your main focus will be ensuring that the software meets 100% quality assurance parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the requirements and design of the product/software. - Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. - Investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle. - Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and problem statements. - Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability. - Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible designs. - Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts for detailed investigations into software requirements. - Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development. - Determine operational feasibility and evaluate analysis, problem definition, requirements, software development, and proposed software. - Develop and automate processes for software validation by designing test cases/scenarios/usage cases. - Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces. - Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status. - Ensure error-free code and conduct thorough testing. - Compile comprehensive documentation and reports as requested. - Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress. - Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risk. - Report project status and customer focus regularly. - Capture requirements and feedback from clients for quality work. - Participate in continuing education and training to remain current with best practices. - Consult with engineering staff on software-hardware interfaces and specifications. - Document solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code. - Ensure good quality of interaction with customers through various channels. - Respond to customer requests promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
