As a Fullstack Developer at Berkowits, your role involves stabilizing the current systems and leading the move towards a scalable, future-ready stack. You will collaborate with React, Flutter, and backend developers, reporting directly to the leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based systems and Prestashop e-commerce modules. - Collaborate with frontend developers to implement and evolve React/Next.js applications. - Design and develop Node.js microservices and REST APIs for core business modules. - Integrate and expose Prestashop APIs to decouple frontend and backend workflows. - Participate in server operations and deployments in Linux environments. - Follow best practices in code quality, documentation, and Git version control workflows. **Required Skills & Competencies:** - PHP (Core or Laravel) - Prestashop - React / Next.js - Node.js - MySQL - Git - Linux Hosting (VPS/GoDaddy) **Preferred (Good-to-Have) Skills:** - Laravel Framework - TypeScript - GraphQL - DevOps Awareness - E-commerce Knowledge In your career progression at Berkowits: - 03 Months: Take ownership of the existing PHP + Prestashop backend and support the React migration. - 36 Months: Contribute to building and deploying core Node.js services. - 612 Months: Actively participate in transitioning to a full headless frontend stack. - 1218 Months: Grow into a Technical Lead role, with influence over hiring, architecture, and technology choices.
