Full Stack Ruby Developer

As a Junior Full Stack Ruby Developer at Avinyaa EdTech, you will be part of an innovative and rapidly growing EdTech company dedicated to revolutionizing the educational experience with cutting-edge technology solutions. Your role will involve developing and maintaining scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies like React.js or Vue.js. You will collaborate with a dynamic tech team to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure the quality of our EdTech platform. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails and other modern technologies. - Create robust APIs and integrate them with frontend services. - Lead and collaborate in the end-to-end development process, including architecture, testing, deployment, and performance optimization. - Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and developers to enhance features and functionality. - Provide mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and staging environments. - Ensure mobile and web responsiveness with performance optimizations for a seamless user experience. - Evaluate and enhance development processes, tools, and technologies. - Stay updated with industry trends to contribute to product innovation. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with emphasis on Ruby on Rails. - Proficiency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Vue.js, etc. - Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and version control systems like Git. - Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), Agile methodologies, and project management tools. - Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and collaboration in a cross-functional team. - Knowledge of TDD, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred Skills: - Experience in EdTech or related industries. - Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular, React, Vue.js. - Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and search technologies.
