Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain

  scalable backend services

  using Node.js and TypeScript (primarily

  NestJS

  ).
• Develop and document

  RESTful APIs and microservices

  using OpenAPI (Swagger).
• Implement and optimize

  database schemas and queries

  in PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB.
• Work with

  ORMs (TypeORM / Prisma)

  for type-safe data modeling.
• Build modular, testable code with

  Jest / Supertest

  and participate in thorough code reviews.
• Containerize and deploy via

  Docker

  and

  CI/CD pipelines

  (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI) on

  AWS / GCP / Azure

• Implement

  multi-tenant architecture, RBAC, audit trails

  , and strong security layers (OAuth2 / JWT).
• Continuously improve

  observability, caching, and performance

  across services.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams to deliver

  production-grade enterprise modules

Required Skills & Experience

Core Competencies (Must-Have)

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in

  Node.js

  and

  TypeScript

  development.
• Strong command over

  JavaScript, SQL

  , and API design fundamentals.
• Proficiency in

  NestJS or Express.js

  framework.
• Experience with

  PostgreSQL or MySQL

  , including query optimization.
• Familiarity with

  React.js

  (hooks, state management) for building simple UIs or dashboards.
• Practical experience with

  Git

  , agile workflows, and

  CI/CD tools

• Understanding of

  security, scalability, and system performance
