Full Stack Engineer (Mern Stack)

As an experienced developer with over 8 years of experience, you will play a key role in design discussions and scrum meetings. You will be responsible for documenting requirements, creating designs based on product owner specifications, and collaborating with the team to review them. Your expertise in the MERN stack will be essential as you work on both front-end and back-end development, developing workflows that align with project requirements. Your responsibilities will also include testing code for defects before submission and collaborating with the testing team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing. You will be involved in building application and data deployment strategies to minimize manual intervention and will actively participate in deployment decisions. Critical skills required for this role include a deep understanding of software development principles, along with significant experience in developing web applications using the MERN stack. You should have a strong background in Functional Programming in JavaScript, particularly in areas such as promises, await, and async. Proficiency in backend development using Node.js (node 12+), experience with React (latest version 18+) and Redux, as well as familiarity with MongoDB, Workflow Engines, and Azure DevOps are also essential. Additionally, you should have experience in developing web applications using Python and Flask, along with proficiency in one or more test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Your career should demonstrate consistent use of Git, GitHub, Jira, and other development management environments. Linux experience, along with knowledge in Networking and Security, is crucial for this role. Excellent troubleshooting and code reading skills are highly valued, as is the ability to create high-quality design and test documentation using MS Office tools. Desired skills for this position include experience in database design, Kubernetes, Docker, Postman, Swagger, and familiarity with Openstack/VMware. Knowledge of networking and network routing concepts is important, as is experience in Mobility networks and building distributed software systems.
