Job Description

As a Full Stack Engineer at Mastercard Data Governance & Regulation team, you will play a crucial role in advancing the Connect experience for customers and internal users. Your primary responsibilities will include hands-on experience with Java 11+, React, Angular, JBehave, Spring Boot, SQL, RDBMS (Oracle and Postgres), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), and other technologies. You will be expected to introduce new technologies, recommend platforms/libraries, and implement solutions using AngularJS and ReactJS. Your expertise will be demonstrated through your ability to design principles such as DRY, Single Responsibility, SOLID, implement IoC, Dependency Injection, and build reusable frameworks. You will drive measurable improvements in the maintenance, operational, and runtime characteristics of the software developed by your team. Providing feedback on peer design and code, including optimization and simplification recommendations, will be essential in your role. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead projects to improve engineering, test, and operations. Troubleshooting problems, defining root causes, and permanently correcting issues within applications and dependent systems will be part of your responsibilities. You will develop and run microservices, collaborate with other engineers and tech leads within an Agile development methodology, and deliver an exceptional user experience to customers. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with new frameworks and technologies, assist with prototyping and proof-of-concepts, participate in code reviews, and ensure a high level of code quality from the team. Your focus areas will include Java, REST API, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Jenkins, Angular, React, Cassandra, Swagger, and Git. To succeed in this role, you should be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to function under pressure independently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent relationship-building, collaborative, and organizational skills are essential. You should be quick to learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools while supporting multiple concurrent activities.
