Full Stack Developer (Azure)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated JavaScript Developer with experience in Azure to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js, integrating with various Azure services, and ensuring high availability and performance. You will work closely with front-end developers, data engineers, and other team members to build innovative and efficient solutions. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js and JavaScript. Design and Integrate APIs using JavaScript, Typescript, other Frontend technologies. Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and designers, to define and deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based applications. Integrate third-party APIs and services as required. Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of backend services. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications for performance and reliability. Stay up-to-date with new Azure features, JavaScript frameworks, and development best practices. Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in backend development using JavaScript, Trypescript and Node.js. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure. Experience with Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL is a plus. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and web services architecture. Experience with version control systems like Git. Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience working with Azure SQL or MongoDB. Experience with serverless architectures and Azure Logic Apps. Proficient in writing unit tests and familiarity with test-driven development (TDD). Good understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work in an agile development environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Experience in cloud security best practices, including data encryption and securing cloud resources. Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like Express.js and NestJS. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 5+ years of experience in backend development with JavaScript/Node.js. Prior experience working with cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, is preferred.
