FTE -- Software, Principal Technical Expert

In this role, you will be a key part of our EcoStruxure Innovation Journey. Our 3-layered EcoStruxure platform consists of Connected Devices, Edge Control, and Apps/Analytics & Services on Cloud. You will contribute to developing core technologies related to the Edge Control layer and Apps/Analytics and services layer of the EcoStruxure platform.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in building Software Products for the Industrial Automation domain. Your primary responsibility will be to lead an Agile team to deliver industry-leading solutions for various business needs based on the Windows Platform.

Responsibilities include:

• Strong joint-ownership of team deliverables.

• Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and stakeholders for the HMI domain based on Windows Platforms.

• Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries.

• Work closely with the architect & architecture team to drive solutions.

• Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.

• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and develop solutions as required .

• Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team.

• Strongly support the team to ensure Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment.

• Contribute to continually improving efficiencies related to your team.

• Support working within the business processes and lead appropriate improvements .

• Occasionally work directly with support and sales staff to address critical customer needs.
