As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Accolade, you will be a critical leader in our technology organization. You will take ownership of our entire frontend architecture, strategy, and team. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role for an engineer with expert product sense who is passionate about building not just high-quality applications, but also high-performing teams. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction for our user-facing products, mentoring a growing team of talented engineers, and collaborating across the company to build a landmark enterprise application from the ground up. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will set the technical vision and strategy for our frontend ecosystem, defining the architectural vision, driving the adoption of best practices, and dictating technical standards. You will mastermind our release and experimentation strategy using LaunchDarkly, lead the team in leveraging its capabilities for feature flagging and product analytics, and drive design and product decisions in partnership with Product and Design. To excel in this role, you should have 6+ years of professional frontend development experience, 1+ years of direct people management experience, deep hands-on experience with LaunchDarkly, expert product sense, and expertise in TypeScript and React. You should be a strategic thinker with experience in architectural design and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
