About the Role

We’re looking for a Frontend & Desktop Engineer who wants to shape how people experience the future of work.

At Utkast, we’re building the intelligent layer that lives across your daily tools — email, meetings, and beyond — quietly automating the busywork and amplifying what humans do best.

You’ll design and build everything users touch — from our web app to seamless desktop integrations that connect Utkast directly into Gmail, Outlook, and the modern workspace.

Your work will define how humans interact with intelligence: effortless, elegant, and deeply human.

You will

• Build fast, polished interfaces with Next.js (App Router) and TypeScript
• Develop cross-platform apps using Electron / Tauri
• Bring Utkast’s intelligence directly into daily workflows (email, calendar, meetings, communication ++)
• Implement real-time collaboration, localization, and accessibility features
• Partner with design, backend and AI teams to craft intuitive, emotionally resonant experiences

You bring

• Solid expertise in React / Next.js and modern frontend architecture
• Experience with desktop frameworks (Electron, Tauri, or similar)
• Strong sense of visual design and interaction quality
• Bonus: Framer Motion, Tailwind CSS, or experience with Outlook / Gmail SDKs
