Job Description

**Role Overview:** As an Investment Compliance professional, your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to investment compliance limits and restrictions set by regulations and clients. You will be expected to provide timely analysis, reports, and escalation of exceptions related to investment compliance. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and reviewing regulations and client mandates across multiple countries. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct daily pre-trade and post-trade Investment Compliance monitoring to identify and resolve compliance violations promptly. - Record breaches in the breach register and ensure proper notification and follow-up with portfolio managers and clients. - Collaborate with Trustees and Custodians to reconcile reported breaches and respond to inquiries. - Provide investment compliance advice to fund managers and internal customers. - Enhance monitoring processes through optimization, technology, and automation. - Calculate derivatives exposure and report figures to portfolio managers. - Prepare compliance reports and certifications for clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis. - Perform manual tasks on Securities Lending Program and ensure adherence to various parameters. - Review and attest rules coded in Aladdin to ensure accuracy. - Review attestation received from delegates and escalate guideline compliance issues. - Interpret regulations and guidelines accurately and maintain lists in the system. - Assist in new instrument approval process and regulatory inspection/queries management. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate or post-graduate degree in Business/Accountancy/Finance. - Minimum 5 years of experience in investment compliance related functions. - Proficiency in BlackRock Aladdin Compliance modules and strong knowledge of Aladdin BQL. - Expertise in MAS CCIS, CPFIG, UCITS, and local regulations of various countries. - Excellent English communication skills with local language expertise preferred. - Strong oversight monitoring, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Attention to detail, effective interpersonal skills, and ability to work with different stakeholders. - Resilient, committed, and forward-looking mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
