Front Office & OPD Reception Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and attendants courteously at the reception.
• Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and billing for OPD (Outpatient Department).
• Manage the front desk efficiently — attend calls, provide information, and guide patients to respective departments.
• Ensure accurate entry of patient details in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and billing staff for smooth patient flow.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain front office records, files, and registers.
• Respond to patient queries and feedback professionally.
• Support in administrative tasks as assigned by management.
• Work in rotational shifts (morning, evening, and night as per schedule).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Graduate (any stream); preference for candidates with experience in hospital front office / reception.
• 1–4 years of experience in Front Office / OPD Reception roles.
• Knowledge of hospital operations and patient-handling etiquette.
• Proficiency in computer systems, MS Office, and Hospital Information Software.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and local language.
• Pleasant personality, good grooming, and patient service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and handle busy OPD flow with efficiency.
