Job Description

Role & responsibilities To plan, prioritize and effectively manage tasks assigned • To ensure the smooth functioning of respective assigned area, Appointment, Registration, Consultation & Investigation Billing, PHP, Admission, Discharge, CGHS/PSU/ECHS & TPA process • Adapts to rapidly changing conditions, differences and demonstrates high level of initiative • Professional and personal integrity, confidentiality of sensitive information • To anticipate patients need and collect regular objective feedback from patients and prepare analysis • To take decision and to resolve patient queries/complain • To ensure that patient and families have information and education about their healthcare needs in a language and manner that is understood by them • To ensure that pricing norms for various services of the hospital for Patient information & billing are being followed. • To Monitor accuracy of billing • To monitor pending report status and liaison with concern dept to know the reason for delay and early solution • To provide support and guidance to his subordinates in performing day-to-day operations. • Daily monitoring of OPD Cancellation, Refunds and Discounts and cancellation of admissions and advances • Daily monitoring of patient Demographic details, admission forms, advance and estimate forms. • Good interpersonal skills with internal & external customer • To develop healthy relationship with Patient/Attendant to contribute in repeat clientele • To Create Healthy atmosphere within the department • To educate subordinates through comprehensive training • To ensure the display of promotional literature at appropriate places in coordination with other departments like marketing etc. • Preferred candidate profile Experience 7-8 years of experience Formal Qualifications Graduation / MHA / MBA Technical Competencies To ensure smooth operation of diagnostic services • To assist providing the data for Dashboard • Adherence of Policy & Procedure • Job knowledge. • Computer skills. • Billing. • Soft skills. Personal Attributes / Skills Leadership quality • Good communication skills • Sharing responsibilities • Team building • Taking ownership
