Location : Chessing – The School of Chess, M.G. Road, Kochi

Job Type : Full-time / Part-time (based on availability)

About Us :

Chessing is a fast-growing chess academy based in Kochi, focused on nurturing young minds through structured and engaging chess education. We are looking for a smart and friendly Front Desk Assistant to be the face of our academy and ensure a welcoming experience for students and parents.

Key Responsibilities :

- Greet visitors, students, and parents in a warm and professional manner

- Handle walk-in and phone/email enquiries about courses, batches, and timings

- Provide accurate information about the academy’s offerings and guide new admissions

- Maintain student attendance records and fee collection updates

- Coordinate between parents and coaches regarding class updates or concerns

- Support with administrative tasks and assist during events or workshops

- Handle basic documentation and data entry related to admissions and operations

Requirements :

- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam (Hindi is a plus)

- Friendly, patient, and confident in dealing with kids and parents

- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets/Docs)

- Previous experience in front desk/admin roles preferred but not mandatory

- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

- Will have an added advantage if you know the chess game or is ready to learn the game.

Working Hours :

Flexible shifts between Monday to Saturday.

Salary :

Ranges from Rs.10,000 - Rs.15,000, based on experience and working hours

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
