Front-End Programmer

Role Overview: As a front-end programmer at CollegePass, you will be responsible for owning and building front-end features using React.js, Tailwind CSS, and modern component libraries. Your role will involve translating Figma design mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces and collaborating closely with product, design, and back-end engineering teams to ensure a smooth user experience and clean data flow. Additionally, you will be connecting the frontend to backend systems (Node.js, MySQL) to ensure security, performance, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Participating in code reviews, version control, and continuous integration - Optimizing performance, page load speed, and cross-device compatibility - Contributing to UI/UX strategy by providing engineering perspectives in design discussions Qualifications Required: - At least 2 years of experience building production-grade React applications - Solid knowledge of React.js, Tailwind CSS, and Figma-to-code conversion - Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and frontend optimization best practices - Familiarity with Node.js and collaboration with backend APIs - Experience using MySQL or other relational databases in connected applications Additional Details: Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment are crucial. Familiarity with Python scripting or microservices, exposure to Langchain, AI agents, or vector DBs, and experience working with MongoDB and NoSQL data structures are considered good-to-have skills.
