Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled React Lead to spearhead the development of modern web applications in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, contributing directly to development (70%) while also mentoring and guiding a small team (30%). Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and responsive web applications using React.js . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, backend, and product to deliver seamless user experiences. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reusability . Conduct code reviews , enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers. Participate in architecture discussions , sprint planning, and technical decision-making. Ensure compliance with BFSI security and regulatory standards . Stay current with the latest trends in the React ecosystem and introduce improvements. Required Skills & Experience: 812 years of experience in web development , with at least 4+ years in React.js . Strong proficiency in JavaScript , TypeScript , HTML5 , and CSS3 . Experience with state management tools (Redux, Context API). Familiarity with RESTful APIs , Git , and CI/CD pipelines . Exposure to BFSI domain projects or other regulated environments. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of unit testing (Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E testing (Cypress). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Prior experience in leading or mentoring small teams .
