Front End Lead

As a Front End Lead at Lera Technologies, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences. You will establish and enforce best practices for frontend development, guide the team in adopting modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and troubleshoot and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks and usability issues. Additionally, you will stay updated with the latest frontend trends and technologies to drive innovation in the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications. - Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences. - Establish and enforce best practices for frontend development, including coding standards and performance optimization. - Guide the team in adopting modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies. - Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous learning. - Troubleshoot and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks and usability issues. - Stay updated with the latest frontend trends and technologies to drive innovation in the organization. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. - Expertise in React.js, Angular, or Vue.js and their ecosystems. - Hands-on experience in state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Context API, or similar). - Strong understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (WCAG compliance). - Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets integration. - Proficiency in UI/UX principles to create intuitive and visually appealing applications. - Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques. - Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, Vite, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development methodologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor junior developers. **Desirable Skills:** - Experience with Micro Frontends architecture. - Familiarity with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) using frameworks like Next.js or Nuxt.js. - Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.). - Exposure to Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and mobile-friendly designs. - Understanding of WebAssembly, WebGL, or Three.js is a plus.
