Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, implement, and manage technology platforms in the client onboarding / lifecycle management areas - Apply a broad range of full stack development, security, reliability, and integration technologies on the Azure platform to help the team deliver a robust and scalable platform - Integrate with advisory workstation, client due-diligence systems, case management systems, data / document management, workflow management, and other foundational platforms to deliver a seamless experience for the client and advisor - Manage platform technical roadmap to ensure modern capabilities are continuously evaluated and onboarded to deliver business value - Develop and foster partnerships with cross functional teams including banking and wealth management businesses, risk/reg/compliance, records management, cloud infrastructure, security and architecture office to ensure platform meets firm's requirements Your team You will be part of the WMA workplace wealth solutions Team. As a Software Engineer, you'll play an important role in building a new digital platform for our Organization. In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. Your expertise - Ideally 10+ years experience in expert hands-on knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering large, scalable systems - Experienced in Java/J2EE, React JS, Kafka, REST APIs, microservices, and event driven architecture - Working knowledge of application frameworks such as Spring Boot & Micronaut - Good knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and other cloud-native services preferably in Microsoft Azure - Good SQL and data analysis skills. NoSQL DBs like Cosmos DB or MongoDB a huge plus - Good UNIX/Linux experiences and scripting skills - Nice to have skills include: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and Web development skills - Excellent communication skills and team player - Working knowledge of Agile development processes and tools - Analytical and methodical problem-solving and debugging skills - Leading a team of resources across geographies and managing a business-critical platform - Good at communication and team coaching / management skills - Tuned to Finance industry and / or service provider culture About us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
