Front-end Engineer

Role Overview: As a Front-End Engineer at Logile, you will play a crucial role in crafting and refining user-facing applications. Working closely with senior engineers, you will contribute to core projects, enhance performance, and ensure a seamless experience across various devices. Collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and back-end teams, you will be responsible for delivering impactful solutions for a global audience from Logile's India-based engineering hub. Key Responsibilities: - Frontend Development & Implementation - Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI components using modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly, interactive interfaces. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across different devices. - Utilize state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Zustand, MobX, etc.) to manage frontend application state. - Efficiently integrate and consume RESTful APIs. - Code Quality & Best Practices - Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following coding standards. - Participate in code reviews, learn from feedback, and contribute to peer improvements. - Follow frontend architectural guidelines to ensure scalability and maintainability. - Utilize version control tools like Git, GitHub, GitLab for collaborative development. - Performance Optimization & Testing - Identify and resolve UI performance bottlenecks to ensure fast load times and smooth user interactions. - Implement basic frontend testing using tools like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library. - Follow best practices for lazy loading, asset optimization, and code splitting. - Collaboration & Agile Development - Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Document frontend implementations to facilitate onboarding new developers and support cross-team collaboration. - Continuous Learning & Growth - Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. - Experiment with new technologies and contribute to the technical evolution of the team. - Take initiative in self-learning, attend tech talks, and engage with the developer community. Qualification Required: - Education & Experience: - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of professional front-end development experience. - Technical Expertise: - Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend technologies. - Hands-on experience in React. - Knowledge of frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite). - Familiarity with state management (Redux, Vuex, or Context API). - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket). - Good grasp of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. - Experience with API integration (RESTful and GraphQL). - Soft Skills & Communication: - Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, backend developers, and product teams. - Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to take ownership of tasks. - Open to learning and feedback, with a growth mindset. - Good communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly. - Bonus Points: - Experience with TypeScript or other strongly typed JavaScript variants. - Exposure to design systems (e.g., Material, Ant Design) and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Contributions to open-source projects or community events.,
