Our SaaS model eliminates the need for complex IT infrastructure, allowing institutions to streamline operations and improve engagement. With our single-database SIS, real-time access to data across various departments such as Marketing, Recruitment, Billing, and Financial Aid is made seamless through our APIs. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Front-End Developer with a passion for creating interactive and elegant user interfaces. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining front-end applications using Java, JavaScript, and frameworks, collaborating with the team to integrate front-end functionality with server-side logic, and ensuring high-quality coding standards are followed. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues promptly, while staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain modern, responsive front-end applications using Java, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. - Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end functionality with server-side logic. - Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver visually appealing and functional user interfaces. - Participate in code reviews and follow high-quality coding standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues promptly. - Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development. Required Skills & Experience The ideal candidate should possess: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Spring, Tapestry, Thymeleaf, Velocity, JQuery. - Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. - Knowledge of integrating RESTful APIs. - Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills - Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React. - Experience using version control tools like Git. - Exposure to Agile development methodologies. - Background in higher education or education-related software is a plus.
