As a Lead Electrical Engineer within the Surveillance product line at Acron Aviation, your primary focus will be on developing TCAS and transponder radios. You will be responsible for owning the electrical engineering discipline throughout the entire lifecycle of the product, from initial concept generation to design, qualification, and lifecycle management. Your role will involve collaborating with business development and all engineering functions to ensure that the requirements for top-level product development are effectively translated into specific technical areas of electrical engineering. You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to plan, design, prototype, and test avionics transponders, RF, and sensor-based systems. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and ensure that the Surveillance product line adheres to industry best practices for product development.
