Description
In this role as a Front-End Developer at LSEG, you will be a valuable member of the Engineering Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP), Corporate Technology (CT). Your primary responsibility will be to work on enhancing the internal developer portal to provide exceptional user experiences for the development community. You will utilize your expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript to build intuitive and engaging interfaces. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining user-facing features using ReactJS and TypeScript. - Collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing interfaces. - Participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and providing constructive feedback. - Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency. - Writing unit tests and debugging applications to ensure reliability and performance. - Staying up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends. - Creating and maintaining user documentation. As for the qualifications required for this role, you should have: - Professional experience in front-end development. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, and TypeScript. - Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards. - Experience integrating front-end collaborate with backend services via RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.
