Position: Receptionist
Location: Chennai
Gender: Female

Job Summary:

We are looking for a professional, well-presented, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team in Chennai. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the Receptionist will play a vital role in creating a positive impression of the company. This role also involves providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome and direct visitors to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Manage incoming calls courteously, providing accurate information or taking messages as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and organization area.
  • Ensure office security by following safety protocols and controlling access through the reception desk.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.5
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing office supplies, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize records, databases, and filing systems (both electronic and physical).
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and official documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and company events.
  • Coordinate and oversee housekeeping staff to ensure office cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Monitor overall office activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Perform additional administrative or special tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Office Administration (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with standard office equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹0.50 per year
