Job Description

Position: Front Desk Executive (Should have Hospital Background)
Department: Reception
Location: Vivekanand Nagar, Block Road, Kathitand Chowk, Ratu, Ranchi
Reporting To: Managing Director / Medical Director or any associated member

1. Job Summary

The Front Desk Executive is responsible for managing the front office operations, greeting and assisting visitors, handling incoming calls, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Front Office Management

  • Greet and welcome visitors and clients with professionalism.
  • Maintain the reception area in a clean and presentable condition.
  • Manage visitor entries, ID verification, and visitor passes.
  • Guide visitors to the appropriate departments or personnel.

B. Communication Handling

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly.
  • Manage emails, inquiries, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain telephone directory and ensure updated contact information.

C. Administrative Support

  • Handle courier inward/outward, maintain logs.
  • Manage meeting room schedules and ensure proper arrangements.
  • Assist the HR/Admin team with documentation and filing.
  • Maintain records such as attendance registers, visitor logs, and inventory of office supplies.

D. Coordination

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and security for smooth front office functioning.
  • Support internal teams during official meetings, events, and audits.
  • Assist in onboarding of new employees (ID card, seating arrangement, initial guidance).

3. Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Hindi).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-handling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Presentable personality with a professional attitude.

4. Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • 1–3 years of experience in front office or administrative roles.
  • Fresher with good communication skills may also apply.

5. Personal Attributes

  • Positive attitude and polite behavior.
  • Good grooming and professional appearance.
  • Problem-solving ability and quick decision making.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Candidate should have Hospital background will be prioritized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
