Freelance Web Designer

As a Web Designer freelancer, your role involves using your technical skills to create visually appealing and functional websites. You will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Strong foundation in HTML & CSS for structuring and styling web pages effectively. - Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript to add interactivity to websites. - Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, Tailwind, or React (if more front-end focused). - Proficiency in CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify for content management. - Experience with version control systems like Git/GitHub to facilitate collaboration with team members. - Understanding of SEO basics to optimize websites for search engine visibility. - Ability to optimize website performance through tasks such as image compression, code efficiency, and ensuring fast loading times. You should be proficient in using various tools to enhance your design and development process, including: - Design Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Canva. - Prototyping Tools: InVision, Axure. - Collaboration Tools: Slack, Trello, Jira, Notion. This freelance position offers a contract length of 10 months with the possibility of extension based on your performance and coordination.
