Artboard Academy is a creative learning hub where storytelling meets technology. We specialize in curating immersive experiences through visual content, animation, and narrative-driven projects. We are currently expanding our creative team and looking for a Documentary Editor to help bring our stories to life. Role Overview We’re looking for a highly skilled Documentary Editor who can not only craft compelling visual narratives but also handle motion graphics, camera animation, and image generation. This is a project-based role ideal for someone passionate about documentaries, storytelling, and visual effects. Key Responsibilities Edit documentary footage into a cohesive and impactful story Integrate camera animations and dynamic movements into static visuals Work with After Effects for transitions, motion graphics, and visual enhancements Use AI/image-generation tools or design software to create supporting visual elements Collaborate closely with writers, directors, and the creative team to refine storytelling Ensure timely delivery of edits within project deadlines Required Skills & Tools Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects Experience with camera animation and visual storytelling techniques Familiarity with image generation tools (AI-based tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, or Photoshop Generative Fill) Ability to work with stock footage, archival content, and raw video footage Good understanding of pacing, music sync, and documentary narrative flow A strong portfolio of previous work (preferably documentary or educational content) Nice to Have Background in education, journalism, or non-fiction storytelling Experience with sound design and color grading Interest in academic or artistic documentary content Why Join Artboard Academy?
