Role Description

freelance Python Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  Python-based microservices

  running on AWS.
• Build and optimize

  serverless applications

  using

  AWS Lambda, ECS containers, Step Functions, Bedrock, and CloudFormation

  .
• Develop and maintain

  automation pipelines

  for deploying services on AWS.
• Work with

  CloudWatch

  for monitoring, alerting, and debugging production workloads.
• Manage and optimize

  S3 storage

  workflows for large-scale data processing.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable Python code leveraging

  multithreading and concurrency concepts

  .
• Collaborate with internal Amazon-style teams and adapt quickly to

  internal tools & workflows

  .
• Troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems in

  fast-paced environments

  .

Required Skills:

• Programming Languages:

  Python (expert level).

• Frameworks/Concepts:

  Microservices, Servlets, Multithreading, REST APIs.

• Tools:

  Docker, Git.

• AWS Services:

  Lambda, ECS, Bedrock, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, S3.

• Development Practices:

  Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Hands-on experience with

  Amazon internal tools

  (AGI-DS or equivalent).
• Prior Amazon employment or collaboration experience.
• Exposure to

  large-scale distributed systems

  in production.
