About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Expert to design and deliver organisational training programs focused on professional behaviour, managerial capability, communication, conflict management, and execution discipline.
This role requires someone who can assess gaps in a growing company environment where teams include interns, freshers, and first-time managers, and build a structured development roadmap that drives behaviour change and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Needs Assessment
Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify skill, behaviour, and managerial gaps across teams.
Evaluate patterns such as workplace conflicts, lack of professionalism, poor communication, and ineffective team management.
Create a clear capability-building roadmap for the organisation.
2. Design & Develop Training Programs
Develop structured, practical, and easy-to-implement modules on:
Professional behaviour & workplace etiquette
Communication skills (verbal, written, conflict management)
Emotional intelligence & self-management
Team collaboration & culture building
First-time manager fundamentals
Delegation, feedback, and performance conversations
Time management, task planning, and execution discipline
Process orientation, SOP understanding, and accountability
3. Facilitate Workshops & Training Sessions
Deliver interactive sessions for interns, freshers, employees, team leads, and managers.
Use real case studies from our organisation to make training relatable and actionable.
Drive behaviour change through role-play, coaching, and practical exercises.
4. Build Manager Capability
Coach first-time managers on people leadership, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
Help managers develop structured team processes, communication rhythms, and documentation habits.
Establish standards of professional conduct and decision-making for team leads.
5. Create Learning Materials & Toolkits
Develop training decks, handbooks, SOPs, templates, checklists, and manager playbooks.
Provide assessment tools, pre/post learning evaluations, and behavioural scorecards.
6. Implement and Track Impact
Measure learning effectiveness using clear metrics and feedback loops.
Report improvements in behaviour, communication, conflict reduction, and manager performance.
Recommend long-term L&D interventions and internal capability-building programs.
Required Skills & Experience
510+ years of experience in Learning & Development, organisational behaviour, or leadership development.
Proven track record of training early-career employees, first-time managers, and mixed-skill teams.
Strong expertise in:
Behavioural training
Manager training
Communication and conflict resolution
Team dynamics
Professionalism development
Ability to design end-to-end learning journeys, not just single workshops.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with startups, fast-paced companies, or organisations with young teams is a strong advantage.
