Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Doctor to join our team at Bansal Dental Clinic in Peer Muchalla. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of general dental services to our patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the continued growth and success of our clinic. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough oral examinations and accurately diagnose dental conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their needs and diagnoses. Perform a wide range of general dental procedures, including: Dental Fillings (various materials) Tooth Extractions (simple and some surgical) Scaling and Polishing Root Canal Treatment (RCT) - basic to intermediate cases Crown and Bridge preparations and cementation Complete and Partial Dentures Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols and infection control measures. Manage and address patient concerns and queries effectively. Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and other clinic staff to ensure efficient workflow. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and best practices. Handle dental emergencies with competence and professionalism. Maintain a professional and ethical demeanor at all times. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution. Valid dental license to practice in India (and preferably in Punjab or with eligibility for registration). Proven clinical skills and a strong understanding of dental procedures. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic computer literacy for record-keeping. Fluency in Punjabi and Hindi is highly preferred due to the local patient demographic. Preferred Skills (Optional): Previous experience working in a dental clinic. Familiarity with dental practice management software. Experience with digital radiography. Any additional certifications or specialized training.
