Key Responsibilities:
· Administer and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, Rocky, Alma, CentOS)
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot web servers (Apache, NGINX)
· Manage databases like MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL
· Handle DNS, mail services, and security hardening
· Implement automated scripts for routine server tasks
· Monitor system health and resource usage
· Manage server migrations and upgrades
· Backup strategy design and disaster recovery implementation
· Provide documentation and train junior team members
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Linux command line and shell scripting
· Apache, NGINX, PHP-FPM
· MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL
· Email server basics (Postfix, Dovecot)
· DNS, FTP, Firewall (iptables, firewalld)
· Backup solutions (rsync, Duplicity, Bacula)
· Monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Netdata)
· Version Control (Git)
· Basic understanding of virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, Proxmox)
