About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, implement, and support SAP FPSL modules as per business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into SAP FPSL solutions.
Ensure correct setup of subledger accounting, covering processes like accruals, fair values, FX revaluation, and regulatory reporting.
Work on integration between SAP FPSL, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP/non-SAP modules as needed.
Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and support go-live & hypercare phases.
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and system enhancements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9, IFRS 17, GAAP) and regulatory frameworks.
Prepare technical and functional documentation as well as end-user training material.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–6 years of relevant experience in SAP FPSL configuration and implementation.
Strong knowledge of SAP FPSL architecture, subledger accounting concepts, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
Good understanding of database concepts and SQL (SAP HANA preferred).
Familiar with accounting principles and financial product subledger mechanisms.
Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

SAP FPSL/SAP FSDM/Insurance Analyzer certification.
Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance implementation projects.
