Job Description

Job Description: You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying FPGA code designs, with a focus on troubleshooting firmware applications for IC embedded code. Your work will often involve both analog and digital hardware as well as software operating systems. You must have knowledge and exposure to hardware design, typically programming in Hardware Description Languages (e.g., SystemVerilog or VHDL) or high-level languages (e.g., Python). Key Responsibilities: - Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and/or VHDL - Basic understanding of FPGA development - Familiarity with simulation tools like Modelsim or equivalent - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python - Some experience in debugging electrical hardware using Chipscope/Signaltap or oscilloscope/logic analyzer Qualifications Required: - B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or M.S. or Ph.D. with 2+ years of relevant experience - Proficiency in Windows & Linux operating systems - Familiarity with Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) is a plus - Ability to develop specifications & requirements - Design, build, and unit test firmware collaboratively - Knowledge/use of automated test benching is beneficial - Familiarity with FPGA intellectual property is advantageous - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Proficient in utilizing business tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Additional Details: Varex Imaging is offering a unique opportunity to join a growing organization in India and be a part of a global market leader in X-ray imaging components.
