FP&A Business Performance Coordinator Oil & Gas

You will be a Business Performance Coordinator in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at bp. Your main responsibility will be to deliver business planning and performance management products to support specific Business/Functions. You will collaborate with local technical and finance teams to develop financial products that enable effective decision-making. Additionally, you will contribute to building wider team goals, including the automation and standardization of financial products. - Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial and management information for strategic business decisions - Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly and quarterly actuals, including trend analysis and variance explanations - Contribute to the development of the long-term strategic plan for the region and support the quarterly planning process - Apply SAP-based systems and PowerBI for detailed analysis and reporting - Promote the use of new and/or standardized systems to increase automation and move towards a self-service model - Must have educational qualifications in Business/Finance or Technical Subject area Degree level or equivalent - Preferred Education/certifications include Masters Degree in a finance field e.g., MBA, CA, ICWA - Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in financial reporting, planning, and control - Proficiency in Excel, SAP, economic models, and visualization tools such as Power BI - Basic understanding of the energy industry, including commercial drivers, sources of value, and competition - Efficient problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, particularly with digital systems and tools At bp, you will have access to various benefits such as life & health insurance, medical care package, flexible working schedule, long-term career development opportunities, family-friendly workplace policies, wellbeing programs, and more.
