Founding Engineer, Full Stack

The role of a Founding Full Stack Engineer at Cenna is crucial in shaping the cutting-edge agentic services platform. By working across the entire stack, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying core features. Your contribution will drive the technical vision of AI-powered products from their inception to achieving scalability. Your responsibilities will include architecting and developing innovative features for the agentic services platform. You will create seamless and responsive user interfaces utilizing modern frontend frameworks. Additionally, you will build scalable and secure backend services and APIs to support platform functionality. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and AI-driven solution standards is essential. Conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and advocating for engineering best practices are also part of the role. Furthermore, you will partner with product management to translate requirements into impactful solutions. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 5 years of full stack development experience. Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Next.js, or similar is required. Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Go is essential. A strong understanding of secure coding practices, application security, SQL, and NoSQL database design and optimization is crucial. Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and teamwork abilities are also necessary. Desired qualifications include familiarity with AI/ML technologies or agentic systems, experience with cybersecurity tools or frameworks, proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud infrastructure, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Contributions to open-source projects and prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment are considered advantageous.
