We’re Hiring: Founding AI/ML Generalist Engineer

Location: Chennai (Hybrid/Flexible)

Compensation: Competitive + 1–3% Equity

Stage: Zero → One (building core product)

We’re building an autonomous AI video editor that learns and replicates a creator’s unique editing style — pacing, cuts, zooms, transitions, audio cues, everything.Think:

“Your editing style, automated.”This isn’t a clipping tool.

This is deep multimodal style learning for long-form video.

A problem no one has solved yet.

The Role: Founding AI/ML Generalist

You’ll work directly with the Founder and CTO to build the core AI engine of the company.

You will own:

1. Model Development (Zero → One) Build multimodal models alongside CTO (vision + audio + text + temporal)Architect the “style fingerprinting” systemBuild editing-action prediction modelsConvert research → production pipelines Optimize models for real-world inference cost

2. MLOps + InfraTraining pipelinesGPU optimizationDeployment & scalingData pipelines + preprocessingInference cost reduction

3. Full Product ExecutionWork with product, design, and GTM teamsInfluence roadmapTalk to creatorsBuild fast and iterate fasterThis is a founder-level ownership role — not a narrow ML job.

What We’re Looking For3–8 years in Machine Learning / Computer Vision / MultimodalStrong PyTorch background

Experience training + deploying models in productionComfort with ambiguity + high-speed executionHands-on experience with CV, video processing, transformers, temporal models.

Strong engineering fundamentals (full stack flexibility is a bonus)

Startup experience OR ex-founder mindset

High-agency, ownership-driven, not waiting for instructionsIf you’ve shipped anything end-to-end or worked as an early engineer — you are a great fit.

Nice to HaveFFmpeg + OpenCV experienceBuilt/experimented with generative video/audio toolsUnderstanding of GPU optimization (quantization, distillation)

Experience with creator tools / video editing / media tech

Published research OR open-source contributions
