Forklift Operator

Description

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations with a focus on safely and efficiently moving materials using a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products during storage and transportation.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in operating forklifts and warehouse operations.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.).
• Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
