Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Forging In-charge at JOHOKU MANUFACTURING PRIVATE LIMITED located in Chennai. The Forging In-charge will be responsible for overseeing and managing all forging operations, including supervising forge shop personnel, ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth workflow. Additionally, the Forging In-charge will handle machine maintenance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in forging operations, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting production issues
• Ability to manage personnel, production schedules, and quality standards
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to implement safety measures
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with other departments
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in forging or manufacturing
• An engineering degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical discipline is a plus
