1. End-to-End Product Development:

• Lead the entire design lifecycle, from market research and competitor analysis to

concept development, prototyping, and commercialization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and

production, to align product designs with brand vision and business goals.

2. Research and Innovation:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and

opportunities for product innovation.

• Explore sustainable materials and manufacturing techniques to align with

3. Design and Development:

• Create detailed design concepts, sketches, and CAD models for multiple

footwear categories.

• Manage the prototyping process, ensuring quality and functional standards are

met.

• Oversee the development of technical specifications for production.

4. Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and creative

environment.

• Manage project timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of

designs.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Experience: Minimum 10 years in footwear design, with at least 3 years in a leadership

role.

2. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in CAD design software (e.g., Rhino, AutoCAD, or

equivalent) and a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.

3. Education: Postgraduate qualification in Footwear Design or a related field from FDDI or

a similar institution.

4. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and

competitor analysis in the footwear industry.

5. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams.

6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively

collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
