Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food Production Chinese DCDP position at Sarovar Portico, located in Haridwar. The DCDP will assist in preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Chinese cuisine while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food presentation. Responsibilities include assisting the Head Chef, supervising junior kitchen staff, ensuring the proper storage and preparation of ingredients, and managing station operations effectively.

Qualifications

Proficiency in preparation and cooking of authentic Chinese dishes
Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, and sanitation practices
Ability to supervise and assist kitchen staff effectively
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Passion for culinary arts and staying updated with food trends and presentation styles
Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food service industry
Formal culinary training or certification in Chinese cuisine is highly desirable
