Reporting To: Assistant Training Manager

Role Overview

The Food & Beverage Trainer is responsible for training new and existing staff on service standards, guest experience, product knowledge, and operational excellence across Brik Oven outlets. The role ensures consistent brand standards and supports the development of team members to improve performance, service efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training & Development

Conduct induction training for new joiners (Service + Basic Product Knowledge).
Deliver ongoing training sessions on SOPs, hospitality etiquette, service sequences, upselling techniques, guest handling, and hygiene standards.
Train staff on Brik Oven menu, including ingredients, preparation basics, allergens, and selling points.
Provide barista-level training (as required): coffee basics, beverage standards, equipment handling.

2. Performance & Skill Enhancement

Identify skill gaps through on-ground observation and provide coaching.
Conduct mock service sessions and role-plays to improve team confidence.
Support managers in grooming high-potential team members.

3. Quality & Standardization

Ensure service and product standards are followed at all outlets.
Recommend improvements for operational efficiency and guest experience.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain training attendance, feedback, assessments, and other documentation
Prepare weekly/monthly training reports for management review.
Update SOP manuals, training decks, and checklists when required.
Closely coordinate with regular update of data on the LMS

5. Coordination

Work closely with outlet managers and operations to schedule training.
Support new outlet openings with training.
Assist in conducting performance evaluations & assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 0–2 years of experience as a F&B Trainer, Service Trainer, or Hospitality Trainer.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of QSR/Casual dining service standards.
Ability to train diverse teams and work in fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of customer service, grooming, and hospitality etiquette.
Basic understanding of barista skills (preferred).
Computer proficiency (MS Office, PPT, Excel).
