Food and Beverage Trainer

As a Food and Beverage Trainer in the skill development sector, your role will involve delivering practical and theoretical training to students. Your primary focus will be on equipping learners with essential skills, knowledge, and attitude required to excel in food and beverage service roles within the hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging theoretical and practical sessions on Food and Beverage Service following NSDC / SSC curriculum standards. - Train students in various F&B service techniques including table setting, order taking, food & beverage handling, customer service, grooming standards, and basic menu knowledge. - Conduct assessments, tests, and evaluations to measure skill acquisition and knowledge retention. - Prepare session plans, presentations, and training materials aligned with curriculum guidelines. - Ensure all training activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations. - Monitor trainees" progress, provide constructive feedback, and guidance. - Maintain training records, attendance, and documentation as per program requirements. - Support placement assistance activities, conduct mock interviews, and facilitate soft skill development sessions. - Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the Food and Beverage industry. Qualifications Required: - Educational Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent. - Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service in reputed hotels/restaurants, with 1-2 years of experience as an F&B Trainer in hospitality skill development (Preferred). - Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, practical knowledge of F&B service operations, ability to handle a class of diverse learners effectively, patience, motivational skills, and positive attitude. - Certifications (Preferred): Training of Trainers (ToT) certified by Sector Skill Council (THSC) / NSDC.
